Film Screening: The Ivory Game, with Q&A Ofir Drori

Design Hub is welcoming famous wildlife activist Ofir Drori for a Q&A and screening of the movie The Ivory Game.


Ofir Drori is an Israeli writer and activist based in Central Africa. He started as an activist against wildlife trafficking, and expanded to anti-corruption, democracy and human rights activism throughout Africa.

About the movie: Ivory is a prized status symbol for middle-class Chinese, and poachers in pursuit of white gold are slaughtering African elephants in record numbers. Filmmakers went under cover for 16 months, infiltrating and documenting the deep-rooted corruption at the heart of the global ivory trafficking crisis.
